Commute Champions List

BART launched a new and improved carpool program through the BART app in June 2019. Carpoolers, no matter how they match, can access guaranteed BART parking at select stations.

Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) launches a carpool program for VTA employees featuring a hydrogen-powered vehicle fleet.

The City of Walnut Creek uses parking pricing management in its downtown to fund a free bus route.

The County of San Mateo continues to reward green commuters in the Carpool 2.0 Rewards Program, powered by vendor RideAmigos. Green commuters can earn up to $100 in gift cards of their choice.

The Bay Area Carpool Program is powered by 511 SF Bay and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC). It's your one-stop-shop for carpool matching tools and green commute rewards.
